National Honor Society - Constitution

The Constitution Committee --

The Constitution Committee is in charge of making ammendments to the constitution as needed. Therefore, the members must understand what the current version is saying and decide whether any changes are necessary. If they do decide to make adjustments, they have to create and write out what they want to change. These changes then must be approved by 2/3rds of the entire National Honor Society through a vote at one of the group meetings.

Last year, the committee played an important role in deciding how NHS would handle things like volunteer hours during the COVID-19 pandemic. All of the members of it came together and proposed to lower the requirement, as it simply wasn't possible to complete the number due to the situation.
